Spalding Drive Elementary Closure — Fulton County

On February 20, 2025, the Fulton County Board of Education voted 4–3 to close Spalding Drive Elementary in Sandy Springs (along with Parklane Elementary in East Point), citing low enrollment, aging infrastructure, and projected savings of roughly $2 million per school.
